SWT50kw-18.5 is one of the down-wind centrifugal force controlled passive variable pitch wind turbine series designed and follows BWEA standard. Variable Pitch Mechanism

Blade angle is positive 4 degree as factory setting at which the turbine is easy to start spinning. After the turbine starting running ,the angle of blades turns to 0 degree quickly, and the blade acts at its most efficient point (one spring acts). It outputs 50kw electrical power at 10m/s wind speed with 60 rpm rotor rotation speed. If the wind speed increases,the blade is forced to turn towards negative angle by active disc brake to limit rotation speed (two springs act). The springs balance the blades angle and rotation speed while regulating power generating

Generator

Connect the out going cables to the terminals at the bottom of the generator, and elicit the cable from outlet of the bottom of the tower.

Blades and HUB

Install the blades on the hub and make 3 pieces M18*25 bolt fasten. 

Put the hub onto the shaft and make M18 nut fasten, at the same time turn the blades clockwise till the hub connect the shaft tigh
